Our Future Plan
1. Under Rubber Mission Planting 21,547 ha of rubber
plantation in next 20 years.
2.Developing TFDPC Industrial Estate at Anandnagar.
3.Setting-up of Laminated Rubber Wood Processing Factory for
production of Edge Glued Laminated Panel Boards & Beams,
Doors, Tables, Chairs, Cot & other special Furniture will be
produced in the project.
4.Developing Common Facility centre for semi knockdown
automatic furniture manufacture unit:- Project cost Rs. 90.50
lakhs. The project will facilitate 300 carpenters to use
modern wood working machineries for production of rubber wood
furniture.
5.Setting-up of Bamboo Mat Corrugated sheet unit.
6.Setting up of Bamboo shoot processing unit.
7.Setting up of Hawai Chappal project for production of 1.20
lakhs pairs of Hawai Chappal and maximum utilization of the
infrastructure facilities available in The Process –cum-
Product Development Centre will be used in the project
8.Potentiality for Downstream Industries: -The TFDPC
Industrial estate has the potential to setup four-five
small-scale units based on treated rubber wood and four-five
small-scale rubber based units including units for finishing,
packaging etc. The products of above projects and the
facilities available in Process –cum- Product Development
Centre
10.Common facility centre for carpentry will be utilized for
the purpose. Setting-up of Developing COMMON FACILITY CENTRE
for supply of world-class rubber wood furniture and Bamboo
furniture & craft. The centre would generate permanent
employment of 300 unemployed youth of Tripura.
